Thanks chica! :) It’s actually only New Year for South Indians, I think- for Bengalis it’s in April (unless this is the case in other regions also? Fellow desis, hit me up with info!). But I did have a lovely Diwali! It’s the first time I’ve ever celebrated it with my family, I didn’t think we ever really did anything for it. Apparently we did when I was a kid, but I don’t remember, haha. We lit candles through the house and did an aarti in front of each murti, it was nice. :)
