Okay, so a few weeks ago someone posted the Etsy of Ashundiin, a native woman who does amazing bead work. She’s Navajo, and her earrings are some of the prettiest beaded works I’ve seen in a long time.
You see that first picture up there? That’s my mom’s Christmas gift. Its a hand beaded barrette. Not only was Ashundiin willing to do custom colors for me, but she was amazingly sweet, and the whole thing was done in about a week in a half. That’s amazing for beaded work, first and foremost. Second most? The price was great. All of her prices are great.
If you’re interested in supporting a nice, caring native artist, please consider her.
She even asked what clip to use, because she didn’t know how thick my moms hair was. That is the sweetest thing ever to me, okay?
If you, too, have a native mommie (or an anybody, really.) and want to win her over for Christmas, she’s highly recommended <33
