This is Erwin the turtle. He is a needle felted turtle. Needle felting is when you take wool fiver and stab this fiber with a very sharp, barbed needle over and over until the fibers knot together. You can pretty much sculpt anything with wool and it is quite fun to create detail! Even bloody fingers do not make me want to stop…Anyhow my daughters are on stand by with band aids : )
