bigbardas: Favorite comic book characters spam → Faiza Hussain/Excalibur This is Excalibur I have here.  And I’m worthy of it.   Faiza is one of my favorite fictional characters in any medium. She is a talented doctor, who is prone to fangirling, and who has occasionally worked to help save the world. She is both a character I see myself in (she’s a hopelessly excitable dork), and a character I want to be more like (she’s a badass doctor who wields a mythological sword).  Faiza finds love, Faiza saves people’s lives, and Faiza kicks Dracula’s ass. She doesn’t get a lot of fandom love (mostly because Captain Britian and MI:13 wasn’t the most widely read title), but I feel confident saying that to know her is to love her. She’s competent and passionate and incredibly strong and really really wonderful.
