Ooh, that’s a tough question, anon! Okay so first off- I prefer both of them clean shaven and with their hair at a reasonable length (like I’m not joking, I actually can’t even look at KSG right now, it actually is one of the reasons I’ve partially lost interest in following Qubool Hai right now)
But both of them have an advantage at different angles and don’t look so great at other angles.
Well okay no, actually, come to think of it, I haven’t really seen Barun have too many terrible angles, just terrible style offscreen, lol. With that shaggy hairstyle and facial hair and stuff, lolol.
KSG’s got several unflattering angles though that definitely don’t work for him, but when he looks good, he looks REALLY good.
I’m not a fan of his tattoos or his personal style though.
Well, I don’t like either of their personal styles actually, lmao. I much prefer Asad’s wardrobe (Arnav had like three suits lmao)
Man, I don’t know, lol! I guess they’re tied. Like, I find Asad more attractive than Arnav bc I’ve seen more of an evolution in his character, but with KSG vs. Barun, idkkkk
As for the acting bit- I’m gonna go with KSG on this one, because who can believe that Armaan Malik and Asad Ahmed Khan are the same person? I don’t know yet if Barun can pull off the same range bc I haven’t seen him play any roles other than Arnav.
I’m not sure of one off the top of my head- any followers know? :)
Maybe! Like a relationship of conveniences. But I still wonder how that “we’re together now” conversation must have gone, like, don’t tell me it wasn’t something like this, lmao:
"You’re my girlfriend now."
"Cool! How do I look in this dress? Fab, na?"
"Bring me the file for the Mumbai fashion show."
"Ok. Love you, ASR."
Sometimes I wonder how Lavanya and Arnav got together in the first place, considering how he wasn’t affectionate to her at all. It seemed so one-sided! And yet he acknowledged her and stuff. It was a very weird little relationship.
Haha see, I can’t really rate them in order of liking bc they occupy different spaces in my brain! They’re not like Pixar or Disney films where I can easily order them.
ZGH- Love it because I’ve never seen anything like it before! A desi story complete in 25 episodes, moving through life, no crazy drama, just real life and all the painful and wonderful moments that come with it and how perceptions change through time. It was incredible! I wish India could make some shows like this, but the audience is different, so I guess it wouldn’t work.
I also wish that there was some way of getting shows like this to a non-desi audience who believes that there is nothing more to Pakistan than people not letting girls go to school and people hiding terrorists. :||
QH- I love it because of the tight storytelling, the amazing chemistry/aesthetic beauty of Asya and now Ayra, the friends I’ve made, and how it’s helped me improve my graphic making skills. ;) And it helped me get through some very tough months at work!
IPK- Love it bc Arshi have the greatest Rabba Ve moments and they’re so creative, too! And now I’m watching the beginning episodes that I never saw before (I only started watching regularly when the hate marriage started bc that was when my family got Star Plus) and IT IS SO HILARIOUS I can’t handle how great Lavanya is.
I can definitively say that I love the original music for this show most, probably more so than the music for QH tbh- I love Rabba Ve (not the female version though), Payal and Akash’s theme, Tu Hi Bata, Buaji’s theme, Shyam’s theme- everything is just excellent.
omfg mamiji interacting with lavanya is the most hilarious thing- “it’s really hot, right? that’s why you’re wearing a transparent sari? very good!”
omg these ipkknd reruns make me so happy, today they’re airing the episode where Arnav catches Khushi after she almost faints again bc of her Teej fast and aah it’s such a perf rabba ve moment
Omfg I love Buaji’s theme so much, it’s hilarious
So I’ve been watching the IPK reruns on TV Asia bc I’ve never seen the first months of the show and today was the Teej episode. I didn’t know that Akash and Payal have their own musical theme! It’s really cute :))
